5 Hertford Street , London - Administrative Internship / Industrial Attachment

From July 2023 to February 2024

For the last 8 months, I have worked in the HR Department of 5 Hertford Street & Oswalds, learning the importance of recruitment, and how HR builds culture in a company.

I handled the recruitment for all Back of House operations, liaising with the executive head chefs and heads of departments.

I created and planned events such as the Christmas party, and helped with the summer party and new opening of our staff lounge and lockers.

Additionally, I was lucky to partake in official meetings, dismissals, and interviews which abetted me in growing my knowledge on how a successful company operates.

Food and beverage intern

From August 2021 to January 2022

For 6 months, I interned at The Goring Hotel in London, UK as a part of their Food & Beverage team.
This included their Michelin star restaurant, lounge bar, Veranda terrace restaurant, room service and private dining.

I was a waitress there for a couple of months and learned how to handle and balance trays of food and drinks.
I was also in training to become a bartender, learning how to pour all drinks from the tap and started to learn mixology.
