I'm excited to share that I have completed a 2 month experience as a back-office intern at Capitolo Riviera, a member of Small Luxury Hotels Collection, in Genoa. This internship is an incredible opportunity to grow professionally and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic work environment.

In this role, I am actively involved in:

- Data Management: Organising and maintaining accurate company records, ensuring efficient data handling.
- Administrative Support: Assisting the team with various administrative tasks, improving our daily operations.
- Financial Coordination: Contributing to the preparation and analysis of financial documents, supporting the budgeting and reporting processes.
- Assisting the front office team and reservations department in various tasks.

This experience has been invaluable in helping me develop essential skills such as attention to detail, effective communication, and time management. I'm grateful for the guidance and support from my colleagues at Capitolo Riviera, who have made this journey rewarding.

This internship allowed me to see how the most top end restaurants get managed, how the staff is handled and how much the customer satisfaction matters. I had to apply my teamwork abilities to integrate myself into the restaurant management team, which helped me understand all the ins and outs of the restaurant management process. Although my internship lasted less than a month, I enjoyed it and it definitely improved my understanding of how restaurants work and what actions are taken in certain circumstances.
