Résumé

I joined Marriott International in 2010 as an account manager, with a career goal of becoming a General Manager by 36 years old. With Marriott I have worked across city hotels, urban resorts, convention hotels and resorts, ranging from 3 star to 5 star, with room keys from 170 up to 1000 rooms, with my most recent opportunity being the pre-opening and ramp up for Four Points by Sheraton Phuket Patong Beach Resort, a 600 rooms resort, Marriott largest resort in Thailand.

Placing training and development at the center of my career, i have focused on developing my general management skills including financial management and digital marketing courses through E-Cornell and Finance 360 for General Managers. In 2021/2022 I joined the Marriott Development Academy (MDA), completing 3 MDA certificates, in Executive Leadership, Finance/Owner Relations and F&B/Events Operations as well as completed a shadow training program at Marriott Surawongsee with their General Manager. In 2023, I was honored with the Marriott Select Brand Award "Global Sales Leader of the Year and was promoted to Executive Assistant Manager looking after rooms operations and in early 2024, I was promoted to Hotel/Resort Manager overlooking total resort operations.

In 2024, I would like to complete the General Manager MDA Certificate or Cornell eLearning and an MDA Certificate in Engineering and Loss Prevention. Furthermore, I would like to complete the “Managing Underperforming Properties” from Lausanne Hospitality Institute. Additionally, I will get involved and oversee F&B operations to complete my training. Additionally, I would like to complete a 360 peer review to see where my improvement areas are.

My objective is to become General Manager of a 300 room hotel/resort with some F&B outlets by end of 2024 in either Bangkok or Phuket, however, I am flexible and willing to relocate, taking my family needs into consideration. In the medium to long term, i would like to be a General Manager in Europe (Switzerland, The Netherlands) or Quebec, Canada.
