Dear Alumni, Today is a special day in the history of EHL Hospitality Business School, and we’re immensely proud to share the news with you. We’ve just been awarded the prestigious AACSB Business accreditation, a testament to our commitment to excellence in education, research, and innovation in the realm of hospitality management. AACSB - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business - is the world's largest business education network, aiming to advance business education worldwide. By obtaining this accreditation, we join a select group of institutions with global recognition and become the only standalone hospitality management school worldwide to receive this honor, as well as one of the few institutions in Switzerland. It underscores our unique position and commitment to leading the way in hospitality management education. Nevertheless, this achievement is more than just a recognition; it is a validation of the quality of our programs, faculty, students, and alumni and a reflection of our collective dedication to empower growth, nurture excellence, and shape the future of hospitality. Achieving this milestone was no small feat. It all began in 2016 when we became members of the Business Education Alliance, laying the groundwork for accreditation. The formal process began in 2019 under the guidance of AACSB's 2020 Business Standards. The journey involved multiple internal workgroups, faculty, and professional staff. The rigorous peer-review process, including a site visit in March 2024, affirmed our adherence to the highest standards of academic excellence. As we celebrate this moment, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to each of you. Whether faculty, staff, student, or alumni, your passion, dedication, and innovative spirit have been instrumental in achieving this long-term goal. Together, we are setting new benchmarks and ensuring that EHL remains at the forefront of hospitality management education globally. Let us continue to push boundaries, innovate, and uphold our commitment to excellence in the creation and transmission of knowledge. Thank you for your continued efforts, and congratulations to all of us. Here’s to many more milestones ahead! With warm regards, Markus Venzin Juan F. Perellon |
